“Paps on Tap is a safe space for Black women to discuss sexual wellness, which isn’t something we’re typically encouraged to do.”

At the heart of our families and communities are Black Mamas, who serve as the nurturers, the leaders, the creatives, and the problem-solvers.

They are the ones who pour every ounce of their energy, time, and love into our families and communities to uplift, support, guide and inspire us.

Yet, in their unwavering dedication to others, Black Mamas often forget to care for themselves. It's easy to overlook their own needs, their deepest desires, and their sensual selves when they are so focused on caring and loving on everyone else.

Paps on Tap: Black Mamas Deserve serves as a gentle, yet powerful reminder to all Black Mamas that they, too, deserve to be taken care of. They deserve to nurture themselves, to follow their dreams, and to live their lives unapologetically.

After all, to care for others, one must first love and care for oneself. And Black Mamas, with their strength, resilience, and boundless love, deserve nothing less than to be cared for, celebrated, and cherished.

The Streets are talking about Paps On Tap

  • Black women deserve great sex AND great information—for us, about us, from us! Paps on Tap is an incredible experience that allows you to network and learn from other Black women and dive into otherwise “taboo” topics. Kimbritive is breaking down walls and opening up the conversation so that we all can be better informed!

  • I really enjoyed my first live Paps on Tap event! I attended by myself, so the conversation starters were so helpful in breaking the ice, making me more comfortable, and introducing me to the ladies I sat next to. The event was well put together. It was intimate, and all of the touches were thoughtful. I really appreciated the gift bag. Not only was I introduced to new products, but the quality of the bag will last me a while as well, lol. Thanks!

  • Paps on Tap was unlike any event I have attended before! I am glad I chose to put myself and my body first by attending. It was refreshing to be in community with Black women discussing our sexual wellness journeys and encouraging each other's growth. I was affirmed by the perspectives shared on the panel and left better equipped to handle my future sexual wellness health visits.

  • Omg the event was AMAZING, and I’m already anticipating the next one. As a medical professional myself, I found that there was still so much to learn about my sexual wellness as a Black woman. The two speakers were PERFECT, I felt like I was on a FaceTime call with my homegirls.

  • So sorry that we’ll miss you! Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds if you are unable to attend.

  • Yes, but you must notify the events team 48 hours before the event at info@parentingforliberation.org to let us know.

  • Not at all. We welcome all Black women, femmes, and non-binary folk to attend this event – we want you here to celebrate! But also bring your own mama if you can.

  • Street parking is available. Garage parking is also available in the adjacent Parking Structure 6 for free for the first 90 minutes or $6 for up to 3 hours.
