With over 8 years of focused study in sensuality, the erotic, and its profound connection to the mind and the body, her mission has been to educate Black women and the Black community about the far-reaching impact of survival mode, empowering Black women to embrace the erotic as a source of healing and powerful transformation. as a mental health and women’s right’s advocate, her transformative work illuminates the path to freedom and liberation through the prioritization of pleasure and joy and the full-embodiment of our erotic self. she is the founder of twenty nine thirty— a restorative community connecting the dots between sensuality, sexuality, healing, and wellness. She is the former executive director to sad girls club. her work has been featured in keys soulcare, voyage LA, life, I swear (the podcast), essence, hypebae, xonecole, etc. she has also collaborated with notable brands such as refinery 29 x target, black girl in om, create & cultivate, maybelline, etc. and has been part of panels hosted by soho house, sad girls club and billionaire girls club, the garden society, the female quotient x SXSW and more. she is a mama, practicing herbalist, seer, and spirit writer residing in her home state, Texas.

In her practice, she strives to offer a natural approach to birth, and women’s gynecological health care needs through practices that inform and empower women to lead holistically healthy lives. She offers patient-centered care with a dual approach, focusing on nutrition, herbs, and movement for overall wellness and conventional medical practices as necessary. Dr. Carla was born and raised in New York and spent three of her formative teenage years in my family’s native country, the Dominican Republic. She is a married mother of three children who has personally experienced deliveries in both the hospital and home birth settings.

Jasmine’s wellness practice is rooted in curating integrative wellness opportunities for Black girls, women, and femmes to pause, center their breath, and connect with themselves and their community more intimately. She believes through intentionally centering our individual and collective wellness needs, we create expanded opportunities for community healing, self-liberation, and joy. Jasmine holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and believes true holistic healing happens through community care.
