“Paps on Tap is a safe space for Black women to discuss sexual wellness, which isn’t something we’re typically encouraged to do.”

Reproductive justice

as coined by 12 Black women in 1994, is a framework, movement, vision and clear roadmap for our collective futures. It guides us towards a future where every human is able to exercise their right to: bodily autonomy, have (or not have) children, and parent the children they have in safe and sustainable communities (SisterSong).

ur journey and fight to secure that future is ongoing and builds upon the dreams of our ancestors and the Black Women’s Health Activism Movement birthed in the 1970s that gave voice to the experiences of Black woman that were left out of the mainstream movements and conversations following the passage of Roe v Wade.

O

There’s so much to explore, learn and unlearn about when about when it comes to reproductive justice and abortion healthcare. Join us for Paps on Tap: Black Reproductive Futures, an homage to the movements that paved the way forward and your invitation to the conversation at the intersections of faith, reproductive healthcare and reproductive justice.

The Streets are talking about Paps On Tap

  • Black women deserve great sex AND great information—for us, about us, from us! Paps on Tap is an incredible experience that allows you to network and learn from other Black women and dive into otherwise “taboo” topics. Kimbritive is breaking down walls and opening up the conversation so that we all can be better informed!

  • I really enjoyed my first live Paps on Tap event! I attended by myself, so the conversation starters were so helpful in breaking the ice, making me more comfortable, and introducing me to the ladies I sat next to. The event was well put together. It was intimate, and all of the touches were thoughtful. I really appreciated the gift bag. Not only was I introduced to new products, but the quality of the bag will last me a while as well, lol. Thanks!

  • Paps on Tap was unlike any event I have attended before! I am glad I chose to put myself and my body first by attending. It was refreshing to be in community with Black women discussing our sexual wellness journeys and encouraging each other's growth. I was affirmed by the perspectives shared on the panel and left better equipped to handle my future sexual wellness health visits.

  • Omg the event was AMAZING, and I’m already anticipating the next one. As a medical professional myself, I found that there was still so much to learn about my sexual wellness as a Black woman. The two speakers were PERFECT, I felt like I was on a FaceTime call with my homegirls.
